Billy Hugh Burns, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Ripley, Mississippi, surrounded by the love of his family and those who cared for him.
Mr. Burns’ life will be honored with funeral services at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2026, at New Life Pentecostal Church in Ripley, Mississippi, with Bro. Bobby Goode and Bro. Taylor Garner officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Following the service, Mr. Burns will be laid to rest in Jesus Name Community Church Cemetery near Walnut, Mississippi.
